Addition Financial Wins Addy for Best of Film, Video & Sound

Addition Financial wins best of film, video & sound for their “Count us in” series of Digital shorts.

These spots were part of the launch campaign for Addition Financial’s new name and brand.

Strum and Addition Financial were recently recognized with the Best of Film, Video & Sound for the “Count us In” campaign work at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Orlando ADDY Awards. Each year, the AAF’s Orlando chapter honors excellence in advertising that cultivates the highest creative standards in the industry. 

“We made a series of fun, quirky little spots as part of the Addition Financial brand launch,” said Josh Streufert, Strum’s Creative Director. “We focused on all of the ways Addition Financial can help its members by focusing on a few key areas where they can’t.” Adding, “and no one ever went wrong putting a pug in a spot.”

In this digital first campaign, these spots found their audience primarily through connected TV and a digital pre-roll media buy. More of Addition Financial’s brand work can be found here.

About the American Advertising Awards

The American Advertising Awards, also known as the ADDYs, are presented annually, attracting nearly 30,000 professional entries each year nationwide. The ADDYs is among the world’s largest and most comprehensive advertising competitions. The ADDY Awards originated in the AAF Fourth District in 1960 and became a three-tiered national competition in 1968. Each fall, the competition begins with contests in the nation’s 200+ AAF member clubs, where entries must be submitted and judged to be eligible for the ADDY process. Local winners proceed to 15 regional competitions, and those winners, to the national finals.
